Who We Are

BF Fund was founded in response to a clear and persistent gap in investment within neighborhoods, particularly Black communities. Through our experience working in the finance industry, we witnessed firsthand the lack of access to capital, resources, and support available to businesses in these neighborhoods. At BF Fund, we believe that when communities and businesses are equipped with the right tools, resources, and funding, they can become self-sufficient and truly thrive. Our mission is to help remove barriers to opportunity by providing hands-on support and access to funding pathways. We do this through educational workshops, one-on-one technical assistance, grant navigation support, and second-chance funding opportunities for justice-impacted individuals. By investing in people and businesses, we aim to help build strong local ecosystems where businesses grow, schools are strengthened, and entire communities benefit.
